biography

I love working with sound.

Every location brings new challenges to conquer and opportunities to explore. It has taken me from the busy streets of New York, to the top of pyramids.

In my career I have worked on reality television, documentary, drama, sports events, commercials, corporate videos, music videos, live and studio acts and a few things that just fall somewhere in-between.

A solid studio and live engineering background enables me to deliver quality sound. As a recording engineer I have worked with the NZSO, Neil Finn, Che Fu, Shihad and Killing Joke. Mixing live acts in everything from 30,000 seat stadiums to raucous pubs. My work in the field evolved from the studio travelling the Pacific to record log drummers in caves and choirs in thatch roofed churches.

I enjoy working in a team environment, with a positive attitude and a sense of humour that truly needs to be experienced.
